Name picker
The Zhween Name Picker is a simple tool for selecting names at random. Teachers can upload a list of names, add names manually, then the tool picks one randomly. It’s great for making decisions fair, encouraging all students to participate, and adding an element of surprise to class.

How to use
The Name Picker gives teachers flexible ways to use it in class:
Calling on Students / Participation – Use it when you need to pick someone to answer a question, read aloud, or share ideas. This keeps things fair and gives all students a chance.
Group Formation – Randomly assign students to groups or pairs. Just put in all the names and let the picker decide.
Game / Activity Turns – Deciding whose turn it is in games or class-activities can be done randomly to keep things unbiased.
Reward / Recognition – Use it to randomly choose students for rewards, special tasks, or “star student” roles.
Reducing Bias & Engagement – Students are more likely to stay alert knowing any name might be picked; it helps make sure quieter students aren’t always left out.
Differentiation – For classes with different ability levels, the teacher might separate students by level and use the picker within each group, so all students get appropriate opportunity.
